This place had everything I needed and more! The clean room and comfy bed made for a super chill stay. The small but useable bathroom got the job done, and having my own pool was mind-blowing! Plus, being able to use the facilities at the nearby Melaleuca on Mitchell was a total game-changer. The location was jaw-droppingly central, with tons of great places to eat nearby. And don't even get me started on the convenience of the shopping center across the road. Checking in late was a breeze and having free parking was a huge plus. The WiFi worked like a charm, and the freezing aircon kept me cool through it all. Seriously, this place was the bomb diggity!

Bar wisdom bar and cafe and crocosaurus cove are next door. We liked everything at value inn including rooms and location. The hotel's setting was really close to such tourist attractions as darwin waterfront. We enjoyed the pool...

We had a great stay at Value Inn. the location was perfect, right in the CBD and close to everything we needed. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the morning receptionist. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. We also appreciated that the price was per room, regardless of how many people were staying. a convenient and welcoming place to stay in the heart of the city. Cons: All good! 👍.

Location
This is really a back packer type accommodation , smallest room I have ever stayed in . Has toilet and shower so this would be the only advantage over back packer . Not value for money

I did appreciate the staff giving me the new alarm clock, in spite of their earlier protestations that there was nothing wrong with the old one (there was, the alarm didn't work). Also, I was allowed to exceed the checking out time, which was helpful. It was also helpful to have a groundfloor room.
I thought the cups were very old and "tired" and there were no saucers - these are useful if one wishes to open and eat a tin of fruit. I really didnt't like the backpackers thing next door, but then I am 80 and probably less tolerant. I thought the cost a bit excessive, as many really good hotels and motels charge less than that.

The location
Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Room was very smelly. Extremely noisy and filthy sheets. Used my sweatshirt for a blanket. I will be writing other reviews and telling others not to stay at this venue. Photos on site were old photos, and not of the rooms as they are today.
